When and where?
Sunday at 11:00, Wyspianskiego 13. The number is on the wall next to the door, the times are on a small glass plaque.
How long does it take?
About an hour and a half. You can leave earlier.
What should I wear?
Whatever you wear on a normal day. Nobody comes here to look at clothes.
What actually happens?
Singing and prayer first, then the sermon, which is someone talking for about half an hour about the Bible and about life, and announcements at the end. There is an offering too, but it is voluntary. There is coffee afterwards. You can stay for a chat or head straight home, whichever you prefer.
Will I have to introduce myself?
No. You sit at the back and listen, that is all. We do not call visitors forward or ask why they came.
What about children?
Bring them. Children have their own room and their own activities; they go there after the first part of the service. They can just as well stay with you; a small child crying is an ordinary sound here.
What do you actually believe?
We are Christians, part of the Pentecostal Church in Poland. We describe it in plain words on a separate page. You do not have to believe anything to come and listen.

We have been
here for eighty
years
The church was founded in 1946 by people coming home after the war: repatriates from the East and people returning from forced labour in Germany. We have been in Nowa Sol ever since. There are about 115 of us, from small children to people in their eighties. We belong to the Pentecostal Church in Poland.
Why we are here. For people who need a safe place and carry their scars, including the ones nobody sees. We have no slogans for them. We have our own stories and the God who helped us in them. If you love God, you love people. That is the whole of our mission.
